QUALIFICATIONS Successful Math and Science Tutors exemplify the following qualifications and experiences: Desire to be a Role Model for middle, high school and college-bound students Organized learner with subject-specific expertise and demonstrated achievement Ability to guide students through their homework and prepare for exam Highly motivated and proven ability to relay knowledge in an effective and individualized/customized manner Science and math tutors must be comfortable explaining one or more of the following subjects: biology, chemistry, pre-calculus (math analysis), calculus, physics, statistics, trigonometry or earth sciences.
