Maintains patient confidentiality and ensures a positive patient experience
What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Greets patients with courtesy and respect, describing procedures and putting patients at ease
Administers oral contrast and provides instructions to patients under the direction of the technologist
Practices universal precautions and maintains cleanliness of exam room
Assists in the performance of quality control procedures and reports equipment malfunctions
Communicates effectively with the steering technologist and ensures appointment schedules are communicated to the front desk team
What Is Required (Qualifications)
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of approved MR Technologist Assistant program with hands-on clinical training
Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
Ability to assist in lifting patients onto the table
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience in a similar role
Additional certifications or training in MR technology
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and adherence to safety protocols
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and privacy standards
