Jefferson Elementary provides programming for grades 1-4; focusing on small group instruction, responsive classroom, STEM opportunities, and core curriculum. We offer a middle school structure and environment for grades 5-8; focused on advisory, exploratory, and experiential learning opportunities. Our high school is for grades 9-12; offering college, vocational, and work ready courses. We have many opportunities for fine arts and athletics for all students. A Career Technical Education Center (CTE) provides students opportunities in automotive, welding, manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, construction careers, and cabinetry. Available Position - Middle School Vocal Music Long-Term Substitute (Grades 5 - 8) Job Description: Long-term substitute for vocal music. The instructor will be responsible for teaching 5th and 6th grade General Music and the 5th - 8th grade choirs. Preferred Qualities: Background in vocal music preferred. The successful candidate must have a working knowledge of the subject matter, classroom management techniques, and the belief that all students can attain high levels of learning. Possess the knowledge and skills to build effective educational experiences that benefit all students.
