About the Role: Chatroom Operator (Part‑Time, Remote)
Our Chatroom Operator team is the essential human layer that ensures every conversation feels natural, empathetic, and correctly interpreted. While our AI engine handles the bulk of routine messaging, it still relies on skilled operators to step in when the content is ambiguous, contains typos, slang, or requires nuanced judgment. Your work will directly train and refine our AI models, making each future interaction smarter and more accurate.

Key Objectives

Interpret inbound text messages that the AI cannot confidently classify.
Select or craft the most appropriate response from a library of pre‑approved canned replies.
Enhance canned responses with a genuine, human touch to improve customer satisfaction.
Maintain high accuracy scores that feed back into the AI training loop.


Compensation & Work Schedule

Hourly Pay: Up to $13/hour based on performance and experience.
Hours: Part‑time, up to 28 hours per week; minimum commitment of 15 hours weekly.
Shift Flexibility: Choose from a broad window of 8 AM – 12 AM EST to accommodate your lifestyle.

Core Responsibilities

Message Review & Response: Scan each inbound text, determine the user intent, and select the most fitting canned response.
Humanizing the Experience: Add brief, empathetic statements (“Sorry to hear that!”) to canned replies when appropriate, ensuring a personal connection.
Speed & Quality Balance: Meet speed goals that vary with interaction complexity while preserving a rating of 4‑out‑of‑4 for accuracy and effectiveness.
Quality Assurance: All interactions are evaluated on a 1‑4 scale; aim for consistent top‑tier scores to keep the AI training loop robust.
Continuous Improvement: Suggest enhancements to the response library based on real‑world usage, helping to evolve the platform’s conversational repertoire.


What We’re Looking For

Exceptional Attention to Detail: Spot subtle cues in messages riddled with typos, slang, or ambiguous phrasing.
Fast, Accurate Typing: Minimum 45 WPM, with no “hunt‑and‑peck” style.
