Parts Shipping/Receiving Clerk (Entry-level)
Join a Sophisticated, High-Performing Brand – Lexus Escondido is Hiring! We are currently seeking a Full-Time Parts Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for all shipping and receiving of parts and goods for the store. You will also support counter personnel and serve as a backup parts driver/delivery person when needed. What We Offer: • A positive, team-oriented company culture • Opportunities for advancement • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Company-paid life insurance • 401(k) savings plan with matching program • Paid vacation • Tuition reimbursement Key Responsibilities: • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy (items, quantities, and documentation) • Match shipments to packing slips, invoices, vouchers, and backorders • Stock incoming parts and materials in proper locations • Record any shipment damages appropriately • Handle returned parts and prepare them for return shipment • Inform the Parts Department Manager of inventory needs • Maintain organization and cleanliness of special order bins and stock areas • Keep bins, aisles, and storage areas neat, labeled, and orderly • Assist as a backup driver for parts delivery • Follow quality control and safety procedures at all times • Work overtime when necessary • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: • 1–2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and training • Strong verbal communication skills; ability to read and understand instructions • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Strong attention to detail and customer service skills • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required Lexus Escondido is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE/M/F/D/V) and supports a drug-free workplace.
