Position: Partial remote veterinary care coordinator / assistant NYC Location: New York Partial Remote Veterinary Care Coordinator / Assistant – NYC Paws at Peace is hiring a part‑time, partially remote veterinary care coordinator / in‑person office assistant in NYC. Experienced veterinary assistants and veterinary technicians are encouraged to apply! Overview Are you passionate about veterinary medicine but burned out from the grind of clinical practice? Do you want to feel like you are truly making a difference in the lives of pets and pet parents every single day? Paws at Peace is hiring a partly‑remote care coordinator / office assistant. Two days a week you will be working from home in veterinary customer service. One day a week you will be assisting at our office in Harlem and with our practice vehicles. Highlights • 20‑30 hours per week • Partly work from home! • Small caring team with a positive practice culture Job Requirements • Clean driving record and valid driver's license with at least 2 years experience • Professionalism and reliability • Exceptional client communication skills • Team player • Prior veterinary or pet‑related customer service experience • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Must be available for a mix of day, evening, and weekend shifts Responsibilities • Compassionate client communication over calls, text, and email • Scheduling appointments • Assisting with miscellaneous administrative tasks Office Assistant Responsibilities • Keeping track of and stocking inventory • Keeping office clean and tidy • Restocking practice vehicles • Occasional practice vehicle maintenance (car washes, oil changes, etc) • Making gift bags for clients weekly Compensation • $22‑$26/hour • 401k with match • Quarterly profit‑sharing bonus About Our Company Paws at Peace provides peaceful at‑home pet euthanasia for clients in the NYC area.
