The Role TOGETHXR is looking for a Part-Time Writer to support our editorial and social efforts across digital platforms. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply plugged into women’s sports, internet culture, and storytelling, and who can write clearly, quickly, and with a strong point of view. You will work closely with our editorial and social teams to bring TOGETHXR stories to life across newsletters, social, website, and an array of special projects. What You’ll Do • Write and edit copy for newsletters, social posts, and digital content • Support editorial planning around major moments in women’s sports • Translate reporting, interviews, and ideas into compelling written formats • Adapt tone and voice across platforms while maintaining TOGETHXR’s brand POV • Collaborate with editors, producers, and social managers on timely content • Pitch story ideas and cultural moments worth covering Who You Are • 2–5 years of experience in writing, editorial, communications, community, or digital media • A strong writer and clear communicator with good instincts • Grounded, collaborative, and a great teammate • A problem solver who takes initiative and follows things through • Ability to write clean copy on deadline • Comfort working across formats from short social copy to longer editorial pieces • Organized, collaborative, and open to feedback • Prior writing, journalism, or digital media experience preferred Success Requires That You • Are a direct communicator and welcome direct feedback • Thrive in a creative, fast-moving environment • Like getting your hands dirty and working cross-functionally • Are entrepreneurial, curious, and passionate about the work • Know there’s more than one way to solve a problem • Naturally go the extra mile • Care about doing great work and winning together • Are a good human • Are willing to work occasional weekends or non-traditional hours around major moments in women’s sports Details • Part time role, approximately 20 hours per week • $30 per hour • Remote friendly • Some flexibility required around live sports moments and breaking news How to Apply • Fill out the application – found here: • Submit your resume • Include (2) writing samples in the additional info box below: • One short form sample between 150 to 500 characters • One long form sample between 800 to 1500 words Applications without both writing samples will not be considered.
