Job Description First Stop Health is seeking a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach who is experienced, detail oriented and has a passion for health and wellness. In this role, you will provide high quality well-being coaching to help patients positively impact their overall health, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and contribute to clinical operations. You will report directly to the Director of Health Coaching. The ideal candidate is passionate about advancing the company’s Quadruple Aim: enhancing patient care experiences, improving population health outcomes, reducing costs, and bolstering clinician well-being. They are also enthusiastic, service-oriented, curious, and collaborative. Schedule • 10-15 hours per week • Work a minimum of two days per week • 2 hours per week must be between 4-8pm CT Mon – Thu or 8a-12p CT Sat – Sun • Schedule needs to be consistent weekly Responsibilities • Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based health coaching sessions virtually or by phone • Enthusiasm to partake in internal training and supervision • Content creation and delivery for customer requests such as webinars and speaking engagements • Support implementation of new products/technology • Ensure outcome collection and analysis • Prioritize whole-person care by collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams • Maintain and improve processes by following standards, policies and procedures, and recommending new approaches • Stay informed on coaching best practices, Lifestyle medicine related research, news stories and the competitive landscape Requirements • Bachelor’s degree and are NBC-HWC certified • Preference for 5+ years of experience • You will work with patients both face-to-face (15% travel to onsite locations) and virtually/telephonically (85% remote from home). • Demonstrate coaching confidence with strong core coaching skills to co-create health related SMART goals and develop and implement effective strategies to reach those goals • You have a good understanding of behavior change theories and know how to successfully implement them with individuals and groups. • Fervor for cultural curiosity and experience engaging and working with people across a wide range of social, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds • Self-starter • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative and analytic skills • Flexible and eager to learn new skills • Ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment • Fluency in basic computer skills including Microsoft 365 and EHR systems First Stop Health is committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
