Part-time Title I Tutor - Supporting Student Success in Idaho
Join our team at Idaho Falls School District 91 as a Part-time Title I Tutor! We're seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to provide targeted support to students in reading and math. As a Title I Tutor, you'll play a vital role in helping students achieve their full potential and succeed academically.
About the Role:
This part-time position, scheduled for 19 hours per week during the school year, offers a competitive salary of $15.32 or $16.08 per hour, depending on experience. You'll work closely with classroom teachers and administrators to identify student needs, develop instructional plans, and track progress.
Responsibilities:
Administer reading and math tests to identify student achievement levels
Collaborate with teachers and administrators to determine instructional needs
Provide targeted support to small groups and individual students in reading and math
Maintain accurate records and track student progress
Assist with data collection and reporting for state and federal agencies
Participate in in-service classes, building meetings, and district meetings
Requirements:
Minimum of 32 core college credits or a minimum score of 460 on the ParaPro Praxis
Knowledge and skills in teaching and using math and reading
Ability to administer standardized and diagnostic tests
Computer knowledge and experience with word processing, email, and spreadsheets
Previous experience preferred, but not required
