About the Role: Driving Sales and Merchandising Success As a Part-Time Territory Sales Associate at Hershey's, you'll play a vital role in driving sales growth, ensuring flawless retail execution, and building strong relationships with our retail partners. This remote position offers the flexibility of part-time work, with a schedule that's adaptable to your needs, while still requiring a significant commitment to driving sales excellence in your assigned territory. Key Responsibilities: Delivering Exceptional Sales and Merchandising Performance Sell and Maintain Distribution: Ensure 100% distribution of all authorized Hershey items in your assigned territory, driving sales growth and expanding our retail presence. Retail Execution: Execute Headquarter Sales and Merchandising Plans with various retailers, ensuring flawless in-store execution and maximizing sales opportunities. Merchandising Objectives: Achieve merchandising objectives through effective use of Permanent Secondary Displays and other display vehicles, driving sales and enhancing brand visibility. Administrative Tasks: Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions, and administrative functions within your assigned territory, ensuring seamless communication and data-driven decision-making. Daily Activity Reports: Submit daily activity reports using tablet technology, providing real-time insights into your sales activities and territory performance. Territory Management: Manage your sales territory, adapting to changes in territory size, number of retailers, and location, while maintaining a high level of sales performance and customer satisfaction. Essential Qualifications: The Skills and Competencies We Require To succeed as a Part-Time Territory Sales Associate at Hershey's, you'll need: A valid US state-issued driver's license and a personal vehicle in sound operating condition. Personal auto insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000 per person, $100,000 per accident, and $100,000 property damage, permitting business use. The ability to drive long distances to make multiple sales calls daily, with a willingness to commute within the territory boundaries. Physical stamina to lift 10-40 lbs. regularly, bend, kneel, stoop down, and demonstrate manual dexterity frequently, with or without reasonable accommodations. Proficiency in using tablet technology and daily access to wireless internet. Flexibility and adaptability to changes in territory coverage, with a commitment to working 20-25 hours per week. A High School Diploma or GED equivalent, with a strong foundation in sales, merchandising, or a related field. Nice-to-Haves: Experience and Skills That Will Give You a Competitive Edge While not required, the following experience and skills will give you a competitive edge: 3-4 years of food merchandising experience, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving merchandising objectives. A strong understanding of the confectionery industry, with a passion for Hershey's brands and products. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with retail partners.
