Part-Time Salesforce Administrator

Remote Full-time
Part-Time Salesforce Administrator Role Overview
This part-time salesforce administrator will support ongoing platform enhancement, maintenance, and optimization efforts. The role focuses heavily on flow building, page layout configuration, permission setup, and general system quality control. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and detail-oriented salesforce administrator who enjoys building within the platform while following predefined requirements and working closely with a small systems team.
Key Responsibilities Primary Functional Tasks
• Flow, page layout, and new-build configuration (approx. 50%)
Includes building and converting Salesforce flows, updating layouts, configuring fields, and supporting small builds.
• Maintenance, cleanup, permission/security setup, and testing (approx. 50%)
Includes system cleanup, mobile optimization, permission set assignments, regression testing, and QC of peer work.
• General administrative support
Tasks include validating work completed by others, participating in team meetings, and contributing recommendations when appropriate.

This position is ideally suited for a salesforce administrator who thrives in a structured environment and can deliver high-quality work aligned with leadership's direction.
Process Overview for Core Tasks
• Receive project requirements from leadership and the internal admin.
• Build and deploy flows, revise page layouts, and complete assigned enhancements.
• Execute system maintenance tasks, including cleanup and permission updates based on a provided matrix.
• Perform QC and testing of administrative work; tasks are guided rather than requiring independent discovery.
Minimum Requirements Must-Haves
• Salesforce Admin Certification (Admin 1)
• Experience building and debugging Salesforce flows
• Strong understanding of dynamic page layouts
• Familiarity with permission sets, reports, and dashboards
Nice-to-Haves
• Development exposure (Apex helpful but not required)
• Experience with document generation tools (e.g., Conga or similar)
• Background with DocuSign or other integrations

A successful salesforce administrator in this role will be confident in declarative tools, proactive in communication, and comfortable working with pre-scoped requirements.
Schedule & Work Environment
• Flexible 20-25 hours/week
• Core business hours: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM, onsite
• Weekly standing meeting
Team Fit & Culture
• Best suited for someone collaborative, coachable, and comfortable giving suggestions without expecting them to be implemented every time.
• Works closely with a detailoriented mid-level admin-this role should complement, not overshadow, existing talent.
• The salesforce administrator should be comfortable taking direction, executing efficiently, and maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Job Selling Points
• High-impact role shaping key Salesforce improvements
• Variety of build and optimization projects
• Flexible schedule
• Exposure to leadership and meaningful operational initiatives

This is a strong opportunity for a salesforce administrator looking for part-time work with substantial impact and room to contribute meaningfully without the pressure of full-time load or full-stack development requirements.
