Position Summary We are looking for a part-time (20 hours per week) Database Researcher/Customer Service Representative to work remotely from Maine. As a key member of our team, you will perform two primary tasks: Research: Maintain our proprietary "Rides in Sight" database of transportation options, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information. Customer Service: Respond to inbound inquiries from seniors seeking information on local transportation options, providing personalized support and connecting them with the best resources. Key Responsibilities As a Part-time Research & Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities will include: Answering telephone calls from older adults on ITNAmerica's Rides in Sight hotline, providing exceptional customer service and connecting them with suitable transportation options. Maintaining the Rides in Sight database through internet research and database maintenance, ensuring data accuracy and relevance. Accepting other related duties and tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: Excellent verbal communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the telephone, with a strong emphasis on customer service. Organizational skills: Highly organized and attentive to detail, with the ability to concentrate on one task for several hours at a time. Collaborative work style: Ability to work independently as a remote worker while maintaining a collaborative mindset. Nonprofit experience: While not required, experience working in the nonprofit sector is preferred.
