Key Responsibilities Grasp business information requirements and analyze business systems and processes to identify the most suitable data sources for meaningful insights. Support the identification and application of statistical methods based on project needs, and aid in the planning, design, and execution of exploratory data analysis research projects. Translate business requirements into projects, activities, and tasks, and develop detailed artifacts. Identify suitable techniques/tools to provide solutions to complex problems, working closely with Data Scientists. Create effective graphical representations of data and model results, understanding client requirements to design fitting data visualizations for diverse datasets. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics. A passion for problem-solving, accompanied by an analytical mindset with critical thinking and data skills. Experience working with large datasets, finding insights, and telling stories using data. Proficiency in playing with vast data and writing code and queries in SQL, Python/R for data analysis. Extensive knowledge of Database technologies and distributed data stores (e.g., SQL, NoSQL), as well as Big Data and Cloud technologies like GCP BQ. Insight into visualization tools and best practices, such as Looker, PowerBI, etc. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge: Experience working in a retail or e-commerce environment, understanding the nuances of omni-channel execution.
