We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Remote Customer Service Representative. Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing premier support to our guests across multiple channels including phone, email, and messaging platforms. You will ensure that every guest feels heard, valued, and confident that their concerns are being addressed with care and efficiency. This role combines problem-solving skills with interpersonal communication to create positive outcomes for both guests and our restaurant operations teams.

Beyond addressing guest concerns, you will play a vital role in supporting our restaurant partners by assisting with digital operations, including online menu updates, delivery platform management, and coordination with restaurant managers. This position offers a unique blend of customer-facing interactions and operational support, providing a well-rounded experience in the fast-casual dining industry.

Key Responsibilities


Guest Support Excellence: Serve as the primary liaison between arenaflex and our guests, providing helpful information, answering questions, and professionally responding to complaints or concerns about their dining experience.
Issue Resolution: Address guest concerns with empathy and efficiency by accessing their arenaflex loyalty accounts, processing order refunds when necessary, and connecting them with appropriate members of our operations leadership team for complex issues.
Documentation & Data Entry: Accurately enter verbal and written guest information into our customer service platforms, ensuring all interactions are properly logged for future reference and quality improvement.
Digital Operations Support: Assist with online restaurant operations including menu updates, delivery platform management, and coordination with restaurant managers on online ordering systems.
Communication Excellence: Speak comfortably and confidently with customers about matters relating to guest support, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
Trend Analysis: Record and report trends, patterns of problems, and guest feedback to help identify opportunities for operational improvement and service enhancement.
Multi-Channel Support: Answer customer emails and phone calls while following arenaflex brand standards and communication guidelines.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously work to improve the efficiency and outcome of the guest experience by suggesting enhancements and participating in team initiatives.


Essential Functions


Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and digital messaging platforms in a timely and professional manner
Access and navigate guest accounts in our loyalty program system to review order history and resolve issues
Process refunds and adjustments according to company policies and guidelines
Escalate complex issues to appropriate team members while maintaining guest satisfaction
Coordinate with restaurant managers to resolve operational issues and update digital menus
Monitor and manage online ordering platforms to ensure accuracy and functionality
Participate in occasional in-person meetings or team events at our Support Center
Maintain thorough knowledge of arenaflex menu items, promotions, and brand standards


Required Qualifications


Customer Service Skills: Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service with a focus on satisfaction and problem resolution
Communication Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally
Technical Proficiency: Good working knowledge of G Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and ability to learn new software platforms quickly
Multi-Tasking Capability: Effective at handling multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Team Collaboration: Ability to work well with internal departments and employees located outside of the Iowa Support Center
Adaptability: Willingness to learn and grow within the company while adapting to changing processes and technologies
Location Requirement: Candidates must reside in or around Coralville, IA, with ability to work remotely from home
Availability: Must be available to work varying hours between 10-20 hours per week, including day and evening shifts, with weekend availability required


Preferred Qualifications


Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the food service or hospitality industry
Familiarity with customer support platforms such as Freshdesk or similar ticketing systems
Understanding of loyalty program management and digital ordering systems
Previous experience working remotely or in a distributed team environment
Basic knowledge of online menu management and delivery platform operations
