Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing prompt and courteous support to our health plan members and representatives. Your excellent communication skills, empathy, and patience will be essential in addressing inquiries about our transportation services and ensuring that our members receive the highest level of care. Fluency in Spanish is a significant plus, as it will enable you to communicate effectively with a broader range of members.
Your role will involve handling inbound calls, meeting productivity metric goals, and following all HIPAA and compliance protocols to protect our members' protected health information. You will also be required to escalate transportation and customer service concerns to our contact center leadership team, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound calls from health plan members and representatives regarding transportation services offered through our health plan
Meet or exceed productivity metric goals, including Average Handle Time, Quality Assurance, Calls per hour, and Customer Satisfaction after-call survey
Follow all HIPAA and compliance protocols to ensure the protection of all members' protected health information (PHI)
Escalate transportation and customer service concerns to the contact center leadership team
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that members' inquiries are addressed promptly and courteously
Utilize your communication skills to de-escalate conflicts and resolve issues in a professional and empathetic manner


Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a minimum of 6 months of inbound Contact Center experience or transferable healthcare experience. A High School degree or equivalent is also required. You must be able to sit for 4 hours or more a day wearing a headset and have a secure, quiet, distraction-free workspace without any conflicting responsibilities during your scheduled work shift.
In addition to these requirements, you will need to have:

Excellent written, communication, and data entry skills
Moderate experience in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Word
A download speed of 80 to 100-mbps and upload speed of 12 to 20-mbps
The ability to adapt to high and fast-paced call volume
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
A customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional service


Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

Fluency in Spanish
Previous experience working in a healthcare or transportation-related field
Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
Certification in customer service or a related field
