Job Summary:
Providing advice and support to Residents and their families, demonstrating empathy and professionalism
Monitoring Residents and administering medication and treatments according to care plans
Documenting Resident care services accurately and thoroughly in Resident and department records
Adhering to infection-control policies and protocols to protect Residents and staff
Resolving Resident problems and needs by collaborating with multidisciplinary team members
Assuring quality of care by adhering to Facility philosophies and standards of care
Maintaining Resident confidence by handling information with confidentiality
Requirements:
Current State Registered Nurse (RN) License
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, fostering collaboration and teamwork
Previous experience in Long-Term Care is preferred
Proficiency in computer skills, including a working knowledge of MS Office applications
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with Residents, families, and team members
Friendly demeanor and strong team player attitude
