As a Ramp Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of ground activities, handling freight and baggage, and providing exceptional customer service.

As a Part-Time Ramp Agent, you will be an integral part of this legacy, working collaboratively with other Ground Operations Teams to meet flight departure schedules.

Key Responsibilities


Provide friendly support to and maintain positive associations with all internal and external Customers.
Work in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of the Organization.
Load, unload, service, guide, and direct Company Aircraft.
Obtain and record Customer baggage, aircraft cargo, mail, and company materials as required.
Handle all aspects of loading, stashing, and unloading baggage, freight, airmail, aircraft cargo, weight, and company materials according to a predetermined plan.
Transport baggage and freight to and from aircraft and maintain records regarding these responsibilities.
Warehouse, weigh, stack, obtain, and deliver air freight, checking air freight handled against accompanying documents to identify any discrepancies.
Protect Customers' baggage, air freight, air mail, and COMAT from weather, loss, theft, damage, or destruction.
Perform inside aircraft cabin cleaning manually, including vacuuming upholstery, cleaning windows, galleys, and lavatories.
Clean and service lavatories, operate lavatory trucks, and dispose of contents according to established procedures.
May perform duties of a Provisioning Specialist, including loading aircraft cabin interiors for trips with equipment and supplies.
Operate and/or drive mechanized equipment, such as belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, pushback tugs, baggage trucks, lavatory trucks, and de-icers.
Physically move around push trucks and containers.
Work near and between passenger terminals, overhangs, and airfreight facilities, both inside and outside.
Complete forms and paperwork associated with work tasks according to established methods and enter such data into the Organization's data framework as required.


Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:


A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
The ability to work cooperatively with others as part of a team and under stressful circumstances.
The capacity to understand reports, follow instructions, learn, and comprehend Ramp Operations procedures, rules, and regulations.
Awareness of hazardous situations and the ability to handle emergencies as they arise.
The ability to work under tight time constraints to achieve quick turns of aircraft.
Satisfaction of all training requirements as outlined in the Ground Operations Employee Handbook and the Work Agreement.


Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, having prior experience in a similar role or industry can be beneficial. Additionally, possessing skills such as:


Knowledge of aircraft ground handling procedures.
Experience operating mechanized equipment.
Familiarity with aviation industry regulations.
