Ramp Agents at arenaflex perform the essential treatment of items on and off aircraft, trucks, containers, and carts. You'll be responsible for moving cargo between terminals and airplanes, as well as receiving, delivering, weighing, and reporting freight in our dedicated warehouse and shipping bay areas. What You'll Do

As a Ramp Agent, you'll be an integral part of our ground operations team. Here's what you can expect in this role:


Load and Unload Cargo: Move baggage and freight of various weights to and from aircraft, ensuring proper handling and secure placement.
Operate Equipment: Drive and operate belt loaders, conveyor systems, and other ground support equipment safely and efficiently.
Ground Power & Climate Control: Connect aircraft to ground power units and cooling systems at gates to ensure passenger comfort during boarding and deplaning.
Aircraft Positioning: Tow and pushback aircraft from gates using specialized towing vehicles, following strict safety protocols.
Service Aircraft Facilities: Service aircraft lavatories and water ports, maintaining cleanliness and functionality for passengers and crew.
Interior Cleaning: Clean the interior of aircraft as needed, ensuring a pristine environment for travelers.
Position Support Equipment: Position beverage and baggage trucks around the ramp area for efficient loading and unloading operations.
Work in All Conditions: Operate outdoors in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and cold.
Flexible Scheduling: Work shifts that include irregular and/or extended hours, weekends, and holidays to meet operational demands.

What You'll Need for Success

We're looking for dedicated individuals who are ready to contribute to our team. Here are the essential qualifications:

Essential Requirements:


Physical Capability: Ability to lift, load, dump, and transport bags and freight to/from aircraft, baggage trucks, and conveyor belts. Must be able to handle heavy loads regularly.
Technical Skills: Basic computer skills and the ability to use technological tools for tracking and reporting.
Customer Service Orientation: People-focused and highly motivated, with a positive and helpful attitude.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
Valid Credentials: Current relevant driver's license as required by local authorities.
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain appropriate airport security and/or US Customs security identifications, as applicable.
Background Check: Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, and/or fingerprinting to satisfy company and security requirements.
Certification: Ability to obtain aircraft bridge certification.
Clean Record: Must pass the US Postal Service background investigation or equivalent.


Preferred Qualifications:


Previous experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or aviation ground support
Familiarity with ground support equipment (belt loaders, tugs, pushback tractors)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
Experience with inventory management systems
