Part-Time Program Assistant - Senior Center EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Assistsin the planning, coordination, and implementation of a variety ofactivities, programs, and special events at the Senior Center. Createsflyers, posters and social media notices to inform the public ofprograms and services. Performs manual labor in providing program/roomset up, assists with meals delivery programs and special occasion mealevents, and in operating the senior van. Assists residents in the use ofthe facility, answers questions, provides front desk coverage. MIN.QUALIFICATIONS: Associates Degree in Gerontology, Sociology, LeisureStudies, Recreation or related field, or Activities DirectorCertification; program development and delivery experience preferablyserving the needs of the elderly population (Bachelor Degree may replace2 years of experience); or equivalent combination of education andExperience. Must Be Dependable, Have Excellent Customer Service Skills,and be physically able to perform light manual labor. COMPENSATION:Grade 4 Non-Union Pay Scale (full range \$22.41/hr to \$29.41/hr, HiringRange \$22.41/hr to \$24.13/hr DOQ), 19 hours per week during seniorcenter operating hours (Mon ?
