We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part-Time Professional Writing Tutor to join our team at Penn State Brandywine's Writing Studio. As a Writing Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting students' academic achievement by providing individualized instruction and guidance on writing skills.
Job Summary:
Assist students with improving their writing skills through one-on-one tutorials and small group sessions
Develop and lead workshops on various writing topics and create educational resources
Collaborate with students to review course material, discuss assignments, and provide feedback on writing assignments
Track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain confidentiality
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in English or a closely related field
Excellent writing and communication skills
Experience in teaching or tutoring writing (highly desirable)
Strong interest in collaborative pedagogy and student-centered learning
