Part Time Paralegal
Small General Practice in Louisville, KY is hiring a part-time paralegal to support two attorneys in Family Law, Probate, Some estate planning, and just a small amount of personal injury. This position is remote but the paralegal must be local to the Louisville, KY area in case a reason arises to be in person when needed. Hours of the position can be discussed during the interview... process.
Highlighted Duties include:
Ā Preparation of financial disclosures in divorce cases
Ā Preparation of various documents in probate matters
Ā Preparation of mediation statements
Ā Assistance with trial preparation. These would be divorce trials so they would be in front of a Judge, not a Jury.
Ā Organization with electronic files and discovery. This could include the preparation of exhibits.
Highlighted Requirements:
Ā Previous paralegal experience preferably in Family Law and Probate.
Ā Good attention to detail and follow-through
Ā Good computer skills, electronic filing, and discovery experience
Ā Prior experience assisting with judge trial support and legal document preparation
