Job Summary We are seeking a part-time Paraeducator to provide instructional support and assistance to students at Raft River High School. As a PART TIME PARAEDUCATOR, you will work closely with certified teachers and other support staff to deliver targeted instruction, facilitate parent involvement, and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one tutoring and instructional support to students in math and reading Assist with class management, organization, and preparation of materials Develop and implement parent involvement activities to foster a collaborative learning environment Work under the supervision of a certified teacher to deliver instructional services and support student learning Assume limited non-program related duties, as needed, to support the school community Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful work environment, adhering to district policies and procedures Interact effectively and professionally with students, parents, staff, faculty, and administration Respect and practice confidentiality regarding student records, activities, and communications Attend in-services, training sessions, and meetings, as required Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or certified teacher Qualifications and Requirements Essential Qualifications: Associate's Degree or a minimum of 32 education-related credits Alternatively, pass the Para Pro Test (contact Nicole Gee at 208-878-6600 for more information) Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience as a Paraeducator or in a related field Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment Skills and Competencies To succeed as a PART TIME PARAEDUCATOR, you will need: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Empathy, patience, and understanding when working with students Basic computer skills and ability to learn district software systems Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits Cassia County School District is committed to supporting the professional growth and development of our educators.
