Job Summary As a Part-Time Overnight Sleep Research Technologist, you will play a critical role in our sleep research studies, ensuring the highest quality data collection and analysis. You will work closely with our team to monitor and track research studies, perform various diagnostic tests, and maintain our sleep laboratory equipment. Key Responsibilities Accountable for all overnight sleep research recordings; monitor and track research studies to ensure quality control. Perform PSGs, DXA Scans, and participate in the collection of Actigraphy, Holter EKG Monitor, and other research participant data. Maintain supplies for sleep laboratory as well as recording equipment to ensure it is in working order at all times for research studies. Collect and analyze biological samples (saliva, urine, blood) and knowledge of phlebotomy desired but not required. Training is available if needed. Participate in aspects of sleep data management for assigned projects, including updating and maintaining databases, resolving problem data issues, tracking data collection forms, and performing verification procedures. Collaborate with project coordinators, statisticians, clinical investigators, clinical personnel, and other data management personnel to plan and implement sleep data management tasks for research projects. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field. Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification strongly preferred. 1 year of related work experience required; 5 years preferred. Ability to work PRN hours, including weekends, on 3rd shift (8:30 pm-8:30 am). Preferred Qualifications To stand out as a candidate, you should possess: Sleep studies training or relevant experience. Knowledge of phlebotomy or experience with biological sample collection and analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
