Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Science Education.
Minimum of three years of teaching experience, including online instruction
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet grading and project deadlines
High energy, a strong work ethic, and the ability to engage effectively with teenagers in the online environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to responding promptly to all communications.
Eagerness to serve in a faith-based learning environment that emphasizes faithful Christian scholarship and character formation
Proficiency with technology, including the ability to navigate a learning management system (e.g., Canvas LMS), online educational tools, and create screencasts/videos.
Reliable, high speed internet access.
Experience working collaboratively with a team of teachers, with a focus on providing and receiving constructive feedback in a transparent, growth-oriented culture.
Ability to interact professionally with parents, students, and other community members.
Cultural awareness and sensitivity, as our students come from diverse global backgrounds.
A demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuous learning
Maturity and stability to thrive in a demanding role.
Primary Responsibilities

Provide both synchronous and asynchronous instruction and support.
Grade student assignments and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the Gravitas curriculum.
