Tinker Federal Credit Union’s Member Service Center has an immediate opening for a part-time Member Support Specialist I! What You’ll Do: As a part-time Member Support Specialist I, you’ll be the first point of contact for our members — handling 50+ calls per day to assist with a wide range of financial needs. This is a high-volume, high-energy role that requires empathy, focus, and a passion for helping people.
You will:

Assist members via phone and digital channels with non-cash transactions and account support
Provide accurate information about TFCU products and services
Guide members through digital banking tools and promote self-service options
Collaborate with supervisors to resolve complex or unique member issues

Schedule & Work Hours:

Department hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday–Friday) and 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Saturdays)
You’ll work a 5-hour shift with a 15-minute break
Potential weekday shifts include: 9 AM - 2 PM or 11 AM - 4 PM
You’ll also be required to work a 4-hour shift every other Saturday.
Final schedule will be determined at time of hire based on departmental needs and your availability

Salary:

Starting at $22.20/hour
Final rate based on experience and internal equity
This is a non-exempt (hourly) position

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required
At least 2 years of related experience
Credit union or banking call center experience preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are strongly encouraged to apply!

Remote Work Opportunities:

After completing training, which may take up to 6 months depending on your experience and learning style, you’ll have the opportunity to work fully remote, as long as performance metrics are met.
You must reside in Oklahoma to be eligible for remote work and to attend occasional in-person departmental meetings.
All necessary computer equipment will be provided to support your remote work setup.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU’s chosen authority.
Complete communications and regulations training.

A passion for providing courteous, professional service in a call center environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Critical thinking and the ability to resolve account issues independently
Comfort with digital tools, Microsoft Office, and basic office equipment
Basic math skills and knowledge of federal/state financial regulations
Ability to use a TDD (telephone device for the hearing-impaired)
