Part Time Medical Assistant
Location: Austin, TX - vibrant, growing city in the center of Texas with access to Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. Austin remains Texas' state capital and home to the University of Texas, but has grown exponentially while remaining one of the best locations to be single or raise a family. Facility: One of Texas' largest FQHC's provides community health to all, regardless of financial status. The mission of the traveling is to provide access to high-quality cancer screenings to high-risk women across the Central Texas region.
Opportunity: Opening is for a Mammography Technician to work on the employer's traveling mammography bus. The bus is a new, clean, state-of-the-art full size vehicle with an incredible internal suite. Schedule is 30 hours/week, 7am-6pm, WednesdayÂFriday with the ability to shift to ThursdayÂSaturday, as needed. A driver will accompany the technician to locations up to an hour from Georgetown, TX.
Requirements: Associate or more advanced degree. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists licensed in Mammography - ARRT(M). Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification (MRT) from Texas Medical Board or Texas Department of State Health Services. Minimum experience of two years as a Radiologic Technologist in Mammography. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). Experience in using a computer software for word processing and spreadsheet development (Microsoft Word and Excel)
