We're now seeking two part-time HR Officers to join our team on a hybrid working arrangement, offering flexible hours to suit your needs and work-life balance.

About the Opportunity

We're excited to offer two part-time HR Officer roles, one at 0.8 FTE (28 hours per week) and the other at 0.6 FTE (21 hours per week). As a HR Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient and effective operation of our human resources functions. You'll be working in a dynamic and innovative environment, with opportunities for growth and development.

Role Overview

The HR Officer role is a vital part of our HR team, responsible for providing administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes, and contributing to initiatives that foster a positive and engaged employee experience. You'll be the first point of contact for employees on HR-related queries, and will work closely with the HR team to drive success.

Key Responsibilities


Onboarding

Setting up the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing offer letters & contracts, conducting HR inductions, background screening checks, and producing probation letters.


Employee Records Management

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records through our HR Information System (HRIS).


Employee Support

Being the first point of contact for all people-related queries.
Administering the HR team inbox, answering and triaging queries in a timely manner.
Providing employees with HRIS guidance and HR procedural guidance.
Providing employment references upon request.


Payroll Support

Collaborating with the HR Team to ensure accurate and timely processing of the monthly payroll.
Updating payroll records and addressing payroll-related inquiries from employees.


Benefit Support

Addressing benefit-related inquiries from employees.
Enrolling employees in benefit plans and facilitating changes or updates as required.


HR Support

Ownership of producing contractual changes documentation.
Invoice management - ensuring invoices are paid in a timely manner.
Providing ER-related administration support (e.g., minute-taking, letters).
Looking for opportunities to streamline HR processes and enhance employee experience.
Contributing to initiatives that foster a positive and engaged employee experience.
Supporting the HR team with project work.
Actively participating in HR events and team meetings.
Keeping abreast of changes in employment legislation and practices.




What We Ask From You

To be successful in this role, you'll need:


Proven 1 to 2 years of experience as an HR Administrator or relevant role.
A good understanding of key HR functions, such as payroll and benefits.
Excellent organisational and administration skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
The ability to work under pressure and be adaptable.
A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to be trusted with confidential data.
A passion for people, process improvement, and technology.
Adaptability to responding to changing business priorities and responsibilities.
