We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Food Service Workers to join our team at a bustling medical center in the Bronx, NY. In this role, youll have the opportunity to provide quality service to our valued patrons and make a positive impact on their day.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, such as coffee, latte, cappuccino, and smoothies.
Prep and cook food items like breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, wraps, pancakes, burritos, and more, following approved recipes and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace by cleaning work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware.
Store food properly to prevent spoilage and ensure food safety.
Prepare food according to customers orders or supervisors instructions.
Work in an environment with varying temperatures.
Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to read and interpret instructions, and perform basic arithmetic used in food preparation.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in the food service industry.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with frequent bending.
Capable of lifting or moving objects weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted.
