Job Overview
In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their needs, and driving sales growth. As a key member of the arenaflex Outlet team, you will work closely with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure that every customer interaction is positive, informative, and helpful. Whether you're assisting customers with product selection, answering questions, or resolving issues, your goal will be to deliver exceptional customer service and create a loyal customer base.

Key Responsibilities

Provide SMART customer service at all times, seeking out customers to understand their needs and assisting them in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise
Listen to and respond knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions, taking them to areas of the store and walking them through projects when necessary
Demonstrate sincere appreciation to customers, communicating information regarding all stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information related to arenaflex Outlet programs
Provide prompt support to all checkout functions, call buttons, departmental pages, or requests for assistance, writing customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental as needed
Cross-functionally train in other areas of the Outlet to help deliver the best customer service, generating leads for Project Specialist Exterior (PSE) programs by actively engaging customers in their project needs
Use store systems to prioritize loads, print pricing labels, and look up items or item numbers for price and inventory information, down-stocking merchandise and replenishing supplies as needed
Prepare merchandise in department of responsibility based on customer requirements/specifications, ensuring compliance with housekeeping standards and programs to maintain cleanliness and organization of store and working areas
Maintain a safe and secure work environment, which may include conducting daily safety reviews, noting hazards, keeping aisles clear, and securing doors and gates, adhering to all safety requirements relevant to one's regular job duties
Operate store equipment as needed, depending on one's specific role and department, and perform additional duties as assigned


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should be highly organized, able to prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of attention to detail. Additionally, you will need to be able to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and move freely throughout the store.

Preferred Qualifications
While not required, previous experience in customer service, sales, or retail is highly desirable. You should be familiar with store systems, equipment, and procedures, and have a strong understanding of the home improvement industry. Excellent problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations are also essential.
