Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, and we're excited to have you join us on this journey. **The Opportunity** As a Part Time Customer Service/Lot Attendant, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and assisting with the day-to-day operations of our lot. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience, develop new skills, and work in a dynamic and supportive environment. **Key Responsibilities:** * Assist customers with U-Haul products and services, providing exceptional service and support * Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory * Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers * Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels * Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services * Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental * Install hitches and trailer wiring * Fill propane (certification offered through arenaflex upon employment) * Drive a forklift (certification offered through arenaflex upon employment) * Participate in ongoing continuous arenaflex education through arenaflex University **Minimum Qualifications:** * Must have a valid driver's license * Available part-time/weekends and holidays * Able to be flexible with inside and outside duties (part of the duties is to sanitize the trucks) * Computer knowledge * Not required – handle cash or credit transactions with customers is a plus **Work Environment:** The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals.
