About the Role As a Part-Time Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, handling prescription sales and processing, managing cash and credit transactions, and maintaining accurate records. You will work up to 20 hours per week, including occasional Saturdays, and be an integral part of our pharmacy team. Your primary responsibilities will include: Intake and sale of prescriptions, processing charges for prescriptions and over-the-counter (OTC) merchandise Collecting payments in the form of cash, check, and credit card, and providing receipts Checking the status of student accounts and collecting personal information Counting and recording all cash and charge records and files Answering calls, greeting patients, and providing accurate information and exceptional customer service Following all state and federal laws pertaining to the practice of pharmacy, including HIPAA, and adhering to established operating procedures Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
