As a customer service representative, you'll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of our organization. **Job Responsibilities** As a Part Time Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service by dispatching emergency service calls, providing customers with emergency pricing, and answering, screening, and forwarding calls * Creating and dispatching orders and dispatching technicians promptly to ensure timely resolution of customer issues * Providing product and service information to customers, including routing calls to other team members for additional support * De-escalating situations by offering patience and support to customers * Analyzing data to determine answers to questions from customers or members of the public * Providing information to customers about customer location, including the location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided * Assisting in special projects assigned, including reports and analyzing data * Special handling of customer support by tracking and follow-up information requests **Key Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * Call Center or Customer Service experience (preferred) * Excellent phone skills, including familiarity with working a multi-line phone system * Excellent listening skills and an empathetic voice and manner * Minimum typing ability of 30 words per minute * Ability to learn and utilize new and existing computer software in a proficient and timely manner * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask while assisting customers * Desire and interest to learn about the life safety field (prior experience a plus) * Entry-level knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, or any other specialty system needed to properly perform job functions * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and dependability * Integrity that aligns with arenaflex's company values **Physical Requirements** This role is remote with onsite training at our office in Elgin, IL.
