Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service to individuals seeking to travel, ship freight, or use baggage services, addressing their needs and resolving issues promptly.
Operate a computerized retail location system, handling tasks such as tagging, check-in, baggage handling, reservations, and resolving related objections and issues.
Greet and assist customers in a courteous and friendly manner, handling cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons as forms of payment.
Manage cash handling, calculating charges, making change, and balancing daily transactions, with accountability for any overages or shortages.
Check in baggage and freight, answer phone calls to provide information to guests, page customers, resolve issues or complaints, and assist as needed.
Handle transactions required to load the aircraft in a timely and efficient manner, managing upset customers due to over-sales, delayed or canceled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage.
Provide current and accurate fare, schedule, reservations, flight arrival/departure information, and answer general inquiries from customers and other airport guests.
Complete forms and reports as required by the organization, writing anomaly and complaint reports as necessary.
Perform other work-related tasks as directed by management, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.


Essential Qualifications and Skills

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
The ability to type and use a computer keyboard with adequate speed to meet the demands of the job.

The ability to communicate information and instructions verbally or through radio equipment.
