Position: Part-Time Contract Attorney / Junior Associate (Remote-First) Part-Time Contract Attorney / Junior Associate (Remote-First) Tra Law Group is seeking a part-time Contract Attorney or Junior Associate who can grow into a long‑term, potentially full‑time associate position. Our firm focuses on transactional work for small and mid‑sized businesses, along with general business compliance matters. This is a remote‑first role that offers substantial flexibility. We maintain office space in Los Angeles available to all team members, and we anticipate expanding into a larger office in the new year. While use of the office is optional, consistent communication and responsiveness are expected. What We're Looking For We value attorneys who take ownership of their work product and approach projects with professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is: • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and meticulous about formatting and presentation. • Comfortable working independently without micromanagement while meeting deadlines and producing polished work. • Capable of handling day‑to‑day transactional matters for business clients, including drafting and reviewing contracts, corporate governance, and general operational issues. • Able to assist with basic employment‑related compliance questions. • Skilled with using artificial intelligence tools responsibly to increase efficiency without compromising judgment or quality. Responsibilities • Draft, review, and revise business and commercial agreements. • Support clients on corporate governance, entity formation, and operational matters. • Conduct legal research and prepare client‑ready summaries and memos. • Assist with employment compliance questions as they arise. • Ensure all work meets strict formatting, clarity, and presentation standards before submission. Qualifications • Licensed attorney in California. • 1–3 years of relevant experience in transactional or general business practice. • Excellent written communication skills with disciplined attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple assignments with minimal oversight. • Familiarity with AI‑assisted drafting tools and willingness to adopt new technology. Compensation • Hourly, commensurate with experience. Contract/part‑time position with the potential to transition into a full‑time associate role. Starting pay no less than $50+ per hour.
