Part-Time Construction Estimator (Division 10) – Remote
We are a Division 10 subcontractor operating in the Bay Area, specializing in toilet accessories, partitions, lockers, wall protection, and related scopes. We are looking for a reliable part-time estimator to support our growing workload. We are seeking a detail-oriented estimator to assist with takeoffs, plan review, and basic data entry. This role involves performing quantity takeoffs in Bluebeam, marking up drawings with counts and notes, and transferring that information into our Excel pricing templates. This is a straightforward estimating support role—perfect for someone with strong attention to detail and familiarity with construction drawings. Responsibilities Perform material and quantity takeoffs in Bluebeam Revu using plans provided. Mark up drawings clearly with: o Counts o Measurements o Notes Required RFIs / clarifications Enter takeoff data into our structured Excel spreadsheets. Review architectural plans & SPEC books for Division 10-related information. Ensure accuracy and consistency across all takeoffs and spreadsheets. (Future, optional task) Contact vendors to obtain pricing once trained and established. Requirements Experience with Bluebeam Revu—ability to perform counts, measurements, and markups. Familiarity with reading commercial construction drawings. Basic proficiency in Excel (data entry, organization, accuracy). Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes. Clear communication and timely delivery of assigned work. Prior estimating experience (Division 10 a plus but not required). Preferred Qualifications Experience estimating Division 10 scopes (toilet accessories, partitions, lockers, wall protection). Ability to identify RFI items or inconsistencies in plans.
