Part-Time Clinician – 1099 contractor (LPC/LMSW/LPC‑Associate/Intern)

Grace and Growth Center is a small, woman-led group practice based in Houston, TX, rooted in grace, growth, and gentle transformation. We provide mental health counseling to women navigating anxiety, depression, relationship trauma, and identity concerns. Our mission is to offer affirming, personalized therapy and group support that fosters a community of healing and resilience.
As a branch of our parent company, Lissen Therapy, LLC (est. 2021), Grace and Growth Center is currently a solo provider practice seeking to expand by bringing on two part-time clinicians (1099 contractors) who are passionate about relational and identity-focused work.
Position Overview:
• Role: Part-Time Licensed Therapist (1099 Contractor)
• Hours: 10–20 hours/week
• Location: 100% Virtual (Texas-based preferred)
• Licensure: LPC, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC-Associate, LMSW, or intern pursuing licensure
This role includes:
• Conducting virtual therapy sessions (individuals, potentially group)
• Collaborating on care plans tailored to women’s unique emotional, relational, and identity-based challenges
• Maintaining timely documentation and practicing ethically in a fully remote setting
• Optional involvement in marketing and community-building projects
This position is open to LPC-Associates, LMSWs, or registered interns who are under supervision. Grace and Growth Center is not currently offering board-approved clinical supervision; applicants must have their own supervisor in place.
Qualifications & Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience providing therapy to women navigating anxiety, identity, self-worth, or life transitions
• Strong clinical documentation, assessment, and treatment planning skills
• Licensed or associate-level mental health provider in Texas (or Florida)
• Ability to work independently, remotely, and communicate effectively
• Commitment to inclusive, affirming care for diverse populations
• Personal or professional connection to the population we serve is a plus
Compensation & Support:
• Competitive 1099 contractor pay (dependent on licensure & experience)
