Part-Time Bookkeeper for Financial Media Company (Simple Monthly Transactions)

I’m looking for a reliable and detail-oriented bookkeeper to help manage the financials for my research firm. We generate $10,000–$15,000 per month in revenue, mostly from monthly subscriptions and advertising deals. This is a simple setup with low volume—ideal for someone looking for consistent, low-stress work each month.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Categorizing 10–15 transactions per month (Stripe and bank deposits)

Sending 5–10 invoices each month (for ad partnerships)

Generating monthly Income Statement and Balance Sheet

Tracking and advising on quarterly estimated taxes

Keeping everything clean, organized, and up to date

What You Won’t Be Doing:

No payroll

No payments to vendors or contractors

No employee management

Tools We Use:

QuickBooks Online (preferred, but flexible)

Stripe

Google Drive

About the Company:

This is a financial research firm with two primary revenue streams:

Advertising – from sponsors and brand deals

Subscriptions – monthly recurring revenue via digital memberships

If this goes well, there’s potential to expand your work into a second business of mine with a similar structure.

Ideal Candidate:

2+ years experience in small business or digital media bookkeeping

Familiar with U.S. estimated taxes and how to track/plan for them

Highly organized, responsive, and consistent

Comfortable working autonomously with minimal input

Time Commitment:

~2–3 hours/month to start

Long-term, recurring work with room for growth
