Part Time Assistant Video Edtior
GovCIO is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Video Editor to join their team on a part-time basis. The role involves editing and producing multimedia content, including videos and podcasts, while collaborating with the production lead to deliver quality content under tight deadlines.ResponsibilitiesProduce and edit multimedia content, including video interviews, basic animations, and audio podcasts for various platforms (web, social media, conferences, presentations, etc.) in collaboration with the production leadSupport the production of a media publication that includes interviews with federal leaders, for both in-person and virtual video and audio formatsCollaborate with the production lead to develop creative concepts for existing products and strategies for improving productionEnsure all multimedia content meets the company's brand standards and quality requirementsManage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and project schedules in collaboration with the production leadProvide technical support on virtual and occasional on-site recordings as neededSkillsBachelor's degree in Multimedia Production, Digital Media, Film, Communications, or a related fieldMinimum of 1 years of experience in multimedia production, including formats beyond video editing such as animation, graphic design, and audio productionProficiency with multimedia production software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), Descript and other AI editing softwareStrong technical skills with color correcting video and modulating audio from raw recordingsExcellent creative and storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for detail and visual aestheticsStrong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize edits to meet deadlinesExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to occasionally work non-traditional hours, including potential weekends and evenings when neededBenefitsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Corporate DiscountsLearning & Development platform, to include certification preparation contentTraining, Education and Certification Assistance*Referral Bonus ProgramInternal Mobility ProgramPet InsuranceFlexible Work EnvironmentCompany OverviewGovCIO is a business consulting firm that focuses on cyber security, digital, data, management and mission services, and IT services.
