Active participation in courseroom discussions is expected, where the instructor will lead conversations and provide feedback to learners. The Assistant Instructor will also plan and facilitate optional weekly interactive study sessions that combine content learning with effective study strategies. Assessing student learning and comprehension is a key responsibility, which may involve both informal assessments and formal evaluations using rubrics for discussions and assignments. Staying current with essential technologies, such as Yellowdig and Kaltura, is vital for maintaining effective learner records and enhancing the educational experience. This position requires a commitment of 30 hours per week and is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in scheduling. While most duties can be performed during evenings and weekends, some availability during regular business hours for training, team meetings, and learner appointments is necessary. The Assistant Instructor is also expected to check into the courseroom on weekends to ensure ongoing support for students.

Strong relationship-building, customer service, and problem resolution skills.
