Oklahoma Connections Academy (OKCA) is a tuition-free, online public school serving student in grades K–12 throughout Oklahoma. OKCA is authorized by the Oklahoma Statewide Virtual Charter School Board and governed by an independent Board of Directors. OKCA is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement, an accrediting division of AdvancED.

Position Summary and Responsibilities

Working from your home office, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for daily administrative tasks of the school such as answering phones and email, receiving visitors, assisting the principal and teachers with administrative tasks, filing and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
• Entering data into the online student information system and a variety of other applications;
• Generating written and oral reports;
• Answering the phones;
• Keeping and utilizing a current calendar;
• Communicating with Parents and Students;
• Assist school Leadership with a wide variety of daily responsibilities.

Requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google tools and web-based applications is essential
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Customer focused approach
• High degree of flexibility
• Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced team environment
