Part-Time ABA Claims & Billing Specialist - Remote

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive ABA Claims & Billing Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is essential to ensuring accurate claims submission, timely collections, and thorough reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional attention to detail, and can navigate multiple complex systems simultaneously. Responsibilities • Prepare, review, and submit private-pay billing to clients and service contracts accurately and on time. • Verify claim data, CPT codes, modifiers, and authorization details for compliance with payer requirements. • Correct and promptly resubmit denied or rejected claims. • Monitor A/R aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances. • Contact payers and clients to resolve unpaid, underpaid, or delayed claims. • Post payments, adjustments, and write-offs accurately in the billing system. • Generate weekly and monthly reports on collections, denials, and outstanding balances. • Maintain organized documentation of all billing activities and communications. Qualifications & Experience • Proven experience in healthcare billing, including out-of-network claims, Medicaid, and state-funded plans. • Familiarity with denials, appeals, and claims resolution processes. • Strong ability to research and resolve payment delays through insurance communication and independent investigation. • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple complex systems simultaneously. • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and efficiently. • ABA Experience a plus.
