Job Summary We are seeking Paraprofessionals/Aides to work in various schools throughout the district, providing support to students with diverse needs and assisting teachers with instructional activities. Key Responsibilities Classroom Support : Assist teachers in the classroom with instructional activities, including preparing materials, setting up equipment, and providing individualized support to students. Student Support : Provide support to students with diverse needs, both academically and behaviorally, to help them access the curriculum and achieve their goals. Tutoring and Small Group Instruction : Facilitate small group and individual tutoring sessions to help students reinforce their learning and build confidence. Collaboration and Communication : Collaborate with educators to implement individualized learning plans, and communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians. Qualifications Essential Qualifications Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in education or child development preferred. Experience : Experience working in a school or educational setting is a plus, but not required. Communication and Teamwork : Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Passion for Education : A passion for supporting student growth and learning, with a commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives. Preferred Qualifications Special Education Experience : Experience working with students with special needs or in a special education setting. Language Skills : Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish. Technology Skills : Familiarity with educational technology, including learning management systems and educational software.
