  • Use case management software to track case progress, manage deadlines, and document case activities.

  • Assist in the analysis of evidence and case materials to identify key issues; draft summaries and correspondence as needed.

  • Assist Litigation Counsel with monitoring and tracking litigation budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints and reporting any discrepancies. This includes collaborating with insurers regarding claims and coverage issues related to litigation matters.

  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams, external counsel, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and information flow.

  • Assist in procurement and engagement of outside counsel.

  • Excellent communication skills, including an ability to articulate a problem and effectively gather facts from a myriad of cross-functional team members.

  • Experience and ability to be accountable, hands-on, a proactive self-starter, and results-oriented – even in a remote environment where many of your colleagues are in different offices and timezones.

  • Experience in legal research, organization, drafting and negotiation, and good judgment to know when issues need to be escalated.

  • Proficient in legal research tools and case management software.
