**About the Role**

This role will support and impact all areas of the Owned Brand business. **Key Responsibilities**

As a Lead Packaging Specialist at arenaflex, you will:


Build foundational data requirements, taxonomy structures, and specific logic to support packaging design optimization and sustainability efforts across all Owned Brand categories.
Consult with relevant sourcing, design, store operations, marketing, supply chain, properties, and compliance program owners in establishing relevant data requirements and flexible guidelines that consistently reflect our commitment to safety, reliability, cost efficiency, and performance.
Create and administer change processes to ensure accurate packaging documentation management portfolios across multiple systems and partner teams.
Develop, manage, and execute innovative training and creative communications on resources, for internal and external audiences, to drive comprehensive understanding of standards, specifications, and data accuracy best practices.
Evaluate data requirements, standards, and specifications to optimize safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions that align with industry standards, improve engineering practices, align with risk tolerance expectations, and maintain a pioneer position in the industry.
Provide support and guidance to cross-functional teams and partners to ensure proper interpretation and enactment of packaging data requirements, standards, and specifications.
Consult with appropriate internal legal and regulatory informed resources, identifying impacts on current data requirements and standards, taking action to mitigate risks and identify opportunities for breakthrough performance for compliance.
Work with cross-functional global partners to drive effective communication and roadshows around stated objective development, compliance, and data accuracy best practice requirements and expectations.
Use data to identify trends or issues, in partnership with technology teams, to measure effectiveness of training delivered and communications sent.
Investigate industry trends and assess arenaflex's comparative data and standards practices, share insights and recommendations with the appropriate audience for improvement and compliance.
Provide leadership and guidance to others, driving effectiveness and efficiency in team results.
Create and maintain a positive team culture by demonstrating behaviors consistent with arenaflex's values of Inclusivity, Connection, and Drive; ensure ongoing, effective communications to the team, and support individual development by offering regular performance feedback, coaching, recognition, and evaluation.

**Qualifications & Experience**

**Basic Qualifications:**


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
4+ years of experience developing and managing documentation and standards programs, preferably including packaging design and development
Ability to influence without authority, manage projects, facilitate groups, resolve conflict, build consensus, establish rapport, and collaborate effectively, internally and remotely, across all levels of an organization
Experience with documentation best practices, technical writing, and reporting
Skilled at developing and advising on content, structure, and delivery of effective training programs, roadshows, and communications
Experience leading teams and/or projects, driving collaboration, empowerment, and cooperation
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, creative thinking, and analytical skills
Related experience with packaging or consumer products manufacturing preferred
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Flexibility and resilience; comfortable working in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments
Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work, communicate, and lead in a highly collaborative environment
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), visualization applications

**Preferred Qualifications:**


Advanced degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
Experience with sustainability frameworks and circular economy principles
Knowledge of international packaging regulations and standards
Experience working with global supply chains
Strong data analytics and visualization skills
