Job Title: Package Designer Job Type: Remote-Contract Duration: 3 months (possible month-to-month extension) Location: Remote Time: 8am - 5pm PST Payrate: $28/hr -----------We are looking for Package Designer only------------ Job Description: Summary As a Package Designer, you will play a crucial role in developing visually appealing and marketable products. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of design tasks, including product design, photo shoots (both in-house and with vendors), and collaborating with licensing companies such as Hello Kitty, Kakao, Line Friends, BT21, Disney, and more. Equipment: Not provided (candidate must have own system) Software Licenses: Provided Portfolio: Mandatory (packaging-focused) Key exp: • Pkg design • Understands dimensions and display • Exp w/ digital assets • Personality/work preferences • Independent, can take a project and run w/ little supervision Responsibilities: • Creating graphics for displays • Creating seasonal collections and themes • Creating intricate package and product designs • Ability to create and design on preliminary deadlines for packaging • Ensure revisions are done completely and accurately while consistently meeting deadlines • Brainstorms concepts, mockup design ideas, and present • Research creative ideas as they are needed and be in tune with competitive market landscape • Research and propose new typography ideas • Creating layouts for print (tear sheets, catalog, banners, posters, marketing media), web, and all social media • Touch up digital imagery of product shots and other marketing media • Create files correctly for press (bleeds, PDF proofing, color separations – spot and 4 color process) • Creating mockups and samples for clients and meetings Requirements: • Advanced Adobe CS6 (or higher) Programs (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) • BFA, BA or relevant degree/experience in Art, Design, and/or Packaging • Strong interest and knowledge in Beauty / Skincare / Cosmetics • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and organization skills • Strong work ethics to excel in a fast-paced environment • A creative design aesthetic that complements the current styles of the company • Possess great attention to detail: excellent writing, communicating and spelling skills are a plus • Meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, copes well with change, and maintains composure under pressure • Accountable for results, approaches obstacles proactively and looks for ways to resolve problems and issues • Takes direction and critique well from management, senior designers, and clients • Positive energy working well in a team environment • Be able to present professional portfolio • Knowledge of typography • Self-motivated and creative individual who can execute projects without requiring frequent direction Apply tot his job
