Overnight Warehouse Associate - Join Our Dynamic Team!

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Overnight Warehouse Associate to join our team at Workwarp. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for managing warehouse activities, overseeing staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Job Summary:

The Overnight Warehouse Associate will be accountable for managing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and maintenance. You will lead a team of warehouse staff, including warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, to ensure efficient and effective warehouse operations. You will also work closely with the Receiving Warehouse Associate to maintain freight schedules that meet our customers' requirements.

Key Responsibilities:


Allocate work hours of warehouse staff to ensure smooth shipment and reception activities
Oversee daily operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and maintenance
Coordinate with customers to resolve receiving errors and issues
Ensure reliable performance of warehouse equipment through preventive maintenance and repair
Implement OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Train employees on standardized procedures for operating equipment and tools
Address and resolve employee disputes in a timely and diplomatic manner
Encourage cross-functional collaboration to improve warehouse productivity
Provide clear and concise reports to management on company progress
Maintain accurate documentation and records
Apply the Acquiring Storage Inspection Plan and simplify counting and inspection tasks
Maintain appropriate storage conditions and rotate inventory regularly


Requirements:


1-3 years of experience in managing teams in a warehouse or distribution center
Proven ability to establish lasting professional connections, build successful teams, and oversee progress
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to perform simple math calculations and operate computer systems on the Windows platform
Proficiency in operating in a fast-paced work environment and completing tasks on time
Flexibility to work longer hours when demand is high


Physical and Sensory Requirements:


Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or move items weighing up to 60 pounds
Ability to frequently handle objects weighing 20-30 pounds
Ability to perform intricate actions and discern tactile feedback when handling objects
Ability to reach, crawl, and crouch as needed
