Overnight Telecommunications Construction Coordinator
This is an overnight remote work position, 8pm - 5am, with a 1 hour lunch break. This position will direct emergency repairs and will be required to travel to the job site when needed.
Position Summary: The Telecommunications Construction Coordinator will play a key role in overseeing on-site construction activities related to fiber optic network deployment. Working under the guidance of the Area Manager, the Telecommunications Construction Coordinator will lead a team to ensure the successful execution of projects with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and adherence to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Project Management:
Supervise and coordinate construction activities to ensure they align with project plans, specifications, and timelines.
Oversee the installation of fiber optic cables, ensuring compliance with design requirements and safety standards.
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate a construction team, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship.
Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting professional development and skill enhancement.
Resource Allocation:
Coordinate the allocation of personnel, equipment, and materials for construction projects.
Collaborate with the Area Manager to ensure resources are effectively utilized to meet project deadlines.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure construction activities meet or exceed industry standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues promptly.
Safety Compliance:
Champion safety protocols, ensuring all team members adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
Conduct safety briefings and training sessions as needed to maintain a safe working environment.
Communication:
Serve as a liaison between on-site teams and management, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
Collaborate with the Area Manager to address any issues affecting project delivery.
