Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates; provides feedback and coaching to ensure teams are equipped to meet business objectives. Customer Service: Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model; manages and supports customer service initiatives. Financial Performance: Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements; manages and assists in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Inventory Management: Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes; develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved. Associate Development: Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring; assigns duties, sets clear expectations, and provides recognition. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Requirements Essential Qualifications: Education: 2 years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience. Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Experience: Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably in retail or a related industry. Preferred Qualifications: Education: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Experience: General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
