Job Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including: Meal Preparation/Diet/Eating, Light Housekeeping, DressingMobility, Personal hygiene, Medication reminders, Transportation as needed, Provide safety, oversight and supervision of clients to ensure their ability to continue to live at home.
Is responsible, respectful and cooperative with patients/families, supervisors, fellow employees
Maintains friendly working atmosphere
Maintains appropriate attitude
Maintains appropriate appearance
Accepts constructive criticism as evidenced by appropriate changes in behavior
Utilizes established channels of communication
Recognizes limitations and seeks assistance appropriately
Follows agencies policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Must have NYS certification for PCA or HHA's
Work Authorization required
Meets NYS health requirements
Recent physical
Two References
Positive and compassionate attitude
Drivers License or reliable transportation is required
Hoyer lift experience a plus- but we will train!
License/Certification:
HHA OR PCA (Required)
