Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Front Office Manager in administering front office functions and supervising staff on a daily basis
Direct and work with managers and employees to carry out procedures ensuring an efficient check-in and check-out process
Ensure guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department
Maintain guest services and front desk goals, develop specific plans to prioritize and organize work, and handle complaints and resolve conflicts
Supervise staffing levels, ensure regular communication with employees, and recognize performance to produce desired results
Support the management of the front desk team, utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead and influence others, and demonstrate honesty and integrity
Ensure exceptional customer service, provide services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention, and respond to and handle guest problems and complaints
Manage projects and policies, implement the customer recognition/service program, and train staff on credit policies and procedures
Support human resource activities, solicit employee feedback, and assist in the interviewing and hiring of employee team members
Candidate Profile:
High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the guest services, front desk, or related professional area
OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; no work experience required
